Head Chef
From his early childhood Krsta has been showing a speacial fondness for culinary arts which he has developed through high gastronomy education, but especially through 10 years of experience gained in Belgrade well-known restaurants.
Constant development of his skills in all culinary sections made him realize that he finds the greatest inspiration in street food scene because it allows him to combine flavors of various worldwide cuisines.
In 2022, with Nenad and Nikola, he founded “Thyme” – a place that testifies to his true talent and dedication in the preparation of each individual dish. Considering that he strives for continuous improvement on the professional level.

Chef Subash was born in Kolkata, India, a city renowned for its rich history, culture, and one of the most diverse culinary scenes in the world. His love for food began in early childhood, where he quickly realized that cooking was not just a skill, but his true calling.
He built his professional career through many years of experience in five-star hotels, mastering technique, discipline, and the principles of fine dining. During this time, he had the opportunity to work alongside one of the world’s most prestigious chefs – Gordon Ramsay, an experience that profoundly shaped his standards and professional philosophy.
His culinary journey continued aboard transoceanic cruise ships, where he gained extensive international experience and a deep understanding of global flavors and cultures. This chapter culminated in opening his own restaurant in Ukraine, where he was able to fully express his vision of authentic Indian cuisine.
Beyond his professional achievements, Chef Subash is widely recognized in India for his humanitarian work. He has been actively involved in charitable initiatives, donations, and providing support to underprivileged communities, firmly believing that food has the power to nourish not only the body, but also dignity and hope.
Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of war, he was forced to close the restaurant and seek a new beginning in Belgrade. It was there that he met the founders of the Thyme StreetFood concept, where a shared passion, vision, and mutual respect quickly emerged.
After two years of collaboration and trust, Thyme Indian StreetFood was born, a project that represents the pinnacle of Chef Subash’s rich career. His lifelong dream is to share Indian culture, tradition, and authentic flavors through his own restaurant, offering guests not just food, but a true culinary story on every plate.

Dynamic and innovative Chef Nenad, whose culinary journey has taken him from the prestigious halls of culinary school Le Cordon Bleu in London to the bustling kitchens of Dubai and Great Britain, before returning to Serbia to leave his mark on the local culinary scene. Armed with an exceptional education from one of the world’s finest culinary schools, Chef Nenad honed his skills under the guidance of esteemed teachers, soaking up knowledge and refining his culinary techniques.
Despite his impressive credentials, he remains refreshingly humble, approaching his craft with a down-to-earth attitude that belies his extraordinary talent. With a genuine passion for his craft, he embraces each culinary endeavor with boundless enthusiasm, infusing his dishes with a harmonious fusion of flavors that captivate the senses.
Chef Nenad’s wealth of experience and expertise as a head chef in various establishments bring a unique blend of familiarity and unexpectedness to his dishes, paying homage to global influences while remaining rooted in local culinary traditions. As a pinnacle of his career, alongside Thyme, he highlights being selected as a judge for the prestigious global culinary show “MASTERCHEF.”

With experience from renowned Michelin-starred restaurants in Norway and some of the finest restaurants in Serbia, he has established himself as a true leader and the head of development at our restaurant.
With an innate ability to transform ordinary ingredients into extraordinary gastronomic creations, Nikola’s expertise extends beyond traditional restaurant settings. His passion for cooking is unwavering, and his international background and exposure to diverse culinary traditions have ignited a deep appreciation for fusion and street cuisine.
What truly sets him apart is his approachable nature, coupled with his determination in the kitchen. Drawing from years of experience, he instills confidence in others, nurturing their culinary talents and helping them reach new heights. Nikola’s dedication to education and the development of emerging talent is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the culinary arts.
