Anamaria Babičković

Anamaria Babičković is the owner of the restaurant Thyme in Subotica, where she continues to build her culinary identity through a combination of discipline, a refined sense of taste, and a modern approach to gastronomy. Although she holds a master’s degree in economics, she finds her true expression in the kitchen, where she transforms experience and intuition into a clear and recognizable style.

Through her work in kitchens that operate with clearly defined systems and standards, she has gained practical experience and a strong understanding of a professional approach to gastronomy, further shaping her style and confidence in her craft.

She gained recognition through her participation in the show Master Chef, where she won over the audience with her energy and authentic cooking style. This experience marked a turning point in her career. After Master Chef, she met Nenad Atanasković and the rest of the Thyme team, with whom she quickly found a shared vision and energy. Within just a few months, that collaboration evolved into a joint project, leading to the opening of Thyme Subotica.

Today, through running her own restaurant, Anamaria naturally combines her professional background with her long-standing passion for cooking, blending organization and creativity in her everyday work. She remains committed to the idea that good food should be honest, accessible, and made with care.

Krsta Simović

Head Chef

From his early childhood Krsta has been showing a speacial fondness for culinary arts which he has developed through high gastronomy education, but especially through 10 years of experience gained in Belgrade well-known restaurants.

Constant development of his skills in all culinary sections made him realize that he finds the greatest inspiration in street food scene because it allows him to combine flavors of various worldwide cuisines.

In 2022, with Nenad and Nikola, he founded “Thyme” – a place that testifies to his true talent and dedication in the preparation of each individual dish. Considering that he strives for continuous improvement on the professional level.

Nikola Rosić

CEO & Head of Development

Allow us to introduce our talented chef, Nikola, who brings a touch of culinary brilliance to our team. With experience from renowned Michelin-starred restaurants in Norway and some of the finest restaurants in Serbia, he has established himself as a true leader and the head of development at our restaurant.

With an innate ability to transform ordinary ingredients into extraordinary gastronomic creations, Nikola’s expertise extends beyond traditional restaurant settings. His passion for cooking is unwavering, and his international background and exposure to diverse culinary traditions have ignited a deep appreciation for fusion and street cuisine.

What truly sets him apart is his approachable nature, coupled with his determination in the kitchen. Drawing from years of experience, he instills confidence in others, nurturing their culinary talents and helping them reach new heights. Nikola’s dedication to education and the development of emerging talent is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the culinary arts.

Nenad Atanasković

Kitchen Operation Manager

Dynamic and innovative Chef Nenad, whose culinary journey has taken him from the prestigious halls of culinary school Le Cordon Bleu in London to the bustling kitchens of Dubai and Great Britain, before returning to Serbia to leave his mark on the local culinary scene. Armed with an exceptional education from one of the world’s finest culinary schools, Chef Nenad honed his skills under the guidance of esteemed teachers, soaking up knowledge and refining his culinary techniques.

Despite his impressive credentials, he remains refreshingly humble, approaching his craft with a down-to-earth attitude that belies his extraordinary talent. With a genuine passion for his craft, he embraces each culinary endeavor with boundless enthusiasm, infusing his dishes with a harmonious fusion of flavors that captivate the senses.

Chef Nenad’s wealth of experience and expertise as a head chef in various establishments bring a unique blend of familiarity and unexpectedness to his dishes, paying homage to global influences while remaining rooted in local culinary traditions. As a pinnacle of his career, alongside Thyme, he highlights being selected as a judge for the prestigious global culinary show “MASTERCHEF.”

Really lovely little place — cosy, welcoming, and genuinely dog-friendly (dogs are welcome inside) 🐶💗

We were out for a walk and fancied a quick bite and something hot to drink, but it took ages to find somewhere we could sit indoors with our dog. Sitting outside in January isn’t ideal, even with heaters, so we were genuinely relieved to stumble across this spot. They let our Border Collie in with no fuss.

Nice interior, quiet background music, and the menu looks decent. We only had time for desserts, but they were excellent.

The dessert is delicious, the food is delicious, just a little more side dishes are needed, otherwise everything is delicious.

A modern and stylish restaurant. The staff was very friendly and can speak english. The food was excellent, very delicious it's a mix of korean and viral streetfood menu. The toilet is clean.
My favourite cafe in Subotica!
I like the friendly staff here and the really delicious food. I love to order the bibimpav here (especially the sweet and sour chicken), the desserts (definitely try the poppy seed tart!) and the orange wine is awesome!

I also enjoy to come here for a cup of coffee for days - it's very peaceful🤗.

And what is important for any Russians - there is no smoking here 😉

Absolutely wonderful! Is all I can say the food is exquisite and the staff is very friendly. They even took the time to explain what goes into the dish you ordered in detail. Also they have signs next to the dishes showing if it's vegan or not for those who care about stuff like that. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone

What a great restaurant! We went for dinner because we saw the great reviews, but were still blown away with the delicious food and the amazing service. The dishes are not like anything in the standard serbian restaurants, but with the combination of ingredients and quality of the chefs this is really a must go to restaurant!

If you see pictures of the food and are afraid you might go home with a huge bill, please dont be scared the prices here are very decent especially for the excellent quality!

Maybe even more impressive than the food was our waitress Marijana who helped us to make a selection of dishes to share and after mentioning that i was interested to order some icecream with my cheesecake, she shared her favourite secret desert to order vanilla icecream with it and Caramel sauce (This was mind blowing!).

Unfortunately we do not live in Subotica so we decided to also join for breakfast which was equally tasty.

It will be difficult for us to visit more often but are sure to come again next time we are in town.

Amazing food and even more amazing service! I come here every time I visit Subotica and never regret visiting this place all over again 😊also amazing choice of Korean Bibimbap! The taste is very authentic and unforgettable! Also this lovely place offers great German beer! Can’t add photos or videos due to lack of patience in front of such delicious food! But here’s a picture from the breakfast I once ordered here🤤

Трудница (9 месеци) је премештена са места где је седела за столом поред прозора где је била превисока температура. Морали смо да напустимо ресторан јер нисмо могли да издржимо на том месту.

Видео сам храну својих пријатеља на месту где сам ишао само да једем помфрит и одједном сам имао апетит. Одмах сам наручио исти. Све је било укусно, особље љубазно, услуга је била веома брза.

Храна је веома укусна и достава је била брза. Помфрит од тартуфа од пармезана био је невероватан, неки од најукуснијих помфрита које сам икада јео.

Међутим, храна је прескупа, а говедина у смасх хамбургеру је садржавала језиве комадиће.

Super nice place. The menu is very simple, there are several options from various cuisines and I like how easy is to pick something. Every meal was perfect.

Nesvakidašnje kombinacije laganih tekstura i složenog ukusa. Kao da je ideja nastala po ugledu na parfimesrsku industriju samo u gastronomskom svetu, mešanje najfinih sastojaka počinje u kuhinji a završava se oduševljenjem.

Унутра се не пуши. Храна је обична, пљескавица је била укусна, а ролница просечна. Обичан кромпир.
Све у свему, свидело нам се. Брза услуга, укусна храна, пријатна атмосфера. Једини недостатак су нешто веће цене, посебно прилога.
Јунеци пљескавица "од кувара" била је мој утисак дана, савршено месо!! Пробали смо баос са гамборијем и мангом, помфрит са пармезаном и уљем од тартуфа и чили сиром. Препоручује се свима. 👍

Наручили телефоном и рекли су да дођем за 20 минута, ја дођем за 25 минута, кажу још 5 минута и када сам дошао после 5 минута, праве се луди и не одговарају. Након 45 минута наручивања, одустао сам. Били сте задовољни што сам наручио и отишао сам да једем на другом месту.
Дуго, дуго нисам јео бољи сендвич. Мешавина укуса, сосева и зачина је одлична. Услуга и амбијент и у Земуну. Постоје још две локације: Баново брдо и Рајићева.
Ово је супер за мене. Храна је потпуно другачија и укусна. Кубански сендвич је на правом месту, сваки зачин и укус су на правом месту, фалафел је одличан. Ништа без соса и дресинга. Амбијент и домаћини за препоручити. Гужва је с разлогом.

Савршена фузија укуса! Одлична услуга. Увек воле музику коју свирају унутра. Моји фаворити су корејска јела, хамбургери, тартуф и пармиђано чипс. Пробао сам већину јела и нисам нашао ниједно које ми се не свиђа. Мајсторски урађено!
Веома љубазно особље и савршена храна.Свака препорука за овај ресторан.

Сјајан концепт ресторана / брзе хране. Леп избор хамбургера, сендвича/тортиља као и разних домаћих специјалитета (споро печена јагњетина). Одлично куцање. Унутрашњи простор је мали, укупно 15 места. Услуга је на одличном нивоу. Могуће је и плаћање картицама. Резервације се не прихватају. Цене су ок, сасвим пристојне. За сваку препоруку!

Сочно, савршено сложени укуси. Уметност
Храна је ок,само су укуси мало превише помешани,конкретно зачини,превише зачина после оброка мучи стомак. Атмосвера двојка због маленог простора и збијености са људима 😉😃

Врхунски припремљена храна, веома сочна, одлично искомбиновани састојцу, заиста за сваку похвалу. Услуга перфектна, одлично познавање менија и састојака хране, давање корисних препорука. Сам локал је веома мали, али фини уређен и пријатан за седење, уколико има места.
Овај локал има моју препоруку.
Храна, квалитет услуге на највишем могућем нивоу, новитети, све на врхунском нивоу - Чиста петица!
Врхунска храна, разумне цене, занимљив мени. Доста је мало место, свега 3-4 стола па имајте то у виду ако желите да седите.

Невиђена клопа. Цепкана јага на прелепом дресингу, прсте сам полизао. Немојте замерити на ћирилици, али ово је понос града, па мора и наше писмо. Странци нека га преведу. Цео угођај је за причу. Пробајте обавезно!!!
